Nationals this weekend.

This is the fulfillment of a dream for these kids. They have been working hard for months to get ready for this. We’re going into the tournament ranked third out of sixteen teams.

It’s time.

There’s been a discussion making the rounds lately betweenWill and Tim and Tom about whether or not Linux works as a solution in schools. Clearly, this is a topic near and dear to my heart, as Beacon has been running Red Hat Linux for the last seven years as its primary server, and that has been one of the most critical decisions we’ve made in our technology growth.

I swear this shot isn’t staged. I just gave him the mini-disc, and a few minutes later, he was sleeping like this. So far, the mini-disc is one of the first toys he’s shown any interest in.
