Sometimes, even if your job is something that you deeply believe in and are committed to, it’s good to get away. This was the first really lovely spring weekend we’ve had. So Kat and I bought our new patio furniture, then I headed out to play some Spring League Ultimate — we won, and I didn’t get injured, both plusses. I came back, had some drinks and barbeque with friends and relaxed.

Today, I ran some errands, put together the patio table, ran some more errands, and then Kat, Jakob and I grilled an amazing pork loin and sat out on the patio and had an amazing dinner.

It’s good to step away from work, from the blogs… especially when the weather turns warm.
