I am a tech-savvy father of a preschooler, so one would think that Disney’s commercials for their new preschool web learning site would appeal to me. But I just saw the commercial — a little girl empties out her toy chest so that she can push the chest over to her mommy’s computer and get online to use the site.

I was horrified. And I’m scared to think that there are parents who would think that this was a better experience for their children than the toys and books the child was leaving behind.

Eek.
