Jakob learns to walk!

Jakob learns there are consequences to walking!

He’s fine… but he outran the nanny to the steps in the bathroom. They are marble steps. There’s a large gash on his forehead… and Kat and I are both having a drink after he goes to bed tonight. Ah, parenthood.

Personally, I’ve already been on the watch for two face bruises, so it is strangely comforting to know that I’m not the only one capable of damaging my son. Now, I’ll just go into his room three dozen times tonight to make sure he is still o.k. So much for a good night sleep.
