Finally got around to watching Bush’s Coalition of the Wild-Eyed commercial that invokes Hitler and all. Now, first of all, I love that BushCo thinks that showing Gore and Dean and Gephardt railling against the administration is a plus for their campaign, but also, the inclusion of the Hitler stuff just seems strange and off. Most importantly, the whole message of the ad is "This isn’t the time for pessimism and rage."
Lies and misdirection to take us to war
1,000 dead American soldiers
10,000 dead Iraqi citizens
Loss of standing across the world
Corporate excess and greed on an epic scale (Enron, Halliburton, etc…)
FMA act being brought to a vote
No Child Left Behind
Regulatory Agencies being run by those who would raid the cookie jar. (EPA — FCC — FDA, etc…)
If this isn’t the time for rage, when is it?
