God forbid the President answers a difficult question. Yes, this is George Bush walking out of a press briefing because the press had the audacity to ask him about Ken Lay’s indictment. Salon makes the point that he could have used this as a perfect time to talk about how his administration takes corporate responsibility seriously, but instead, he just walked away.

At what point does this country — and the press corps — get outraged by this guy? Seriously. Implicit in being President is an understanding that you will get asked the tough questions — and that you owe it to the nation to answer them.
