In an ever-growing series of slideshows created in iPhoto, here are the pictures from Beacon Graduation this year. There’s a much longer post to write about what all the emotions and such that go along with an event like this, but the short version is to say that the Beacon band played "Seasons of Love" — and I’ve chosen it as the music for the slide show, and it just was appropriate. The closeness of the community came through powerfully throughout the ceremony, and it just was wonderful to see.

As a student from another high school who was at graduation said, "My high school is a building. Beacon is a community."

Yep.
