[Thank you to Richard Grigonis – @EditState ofNow – for a truly humbling post, letting me know that this speech was now online.]

I had the pleasure of keynoting the #140Edu Conference this past summer. It really is a wonderful event, run by one of the truly great folks in the world of social media, Jeff Pulver. (I co-host it, but really, Jeff does all the work.) This was a really fun and challenging keynote because the audience at #140Edu is always interesting because it is a real mix of educators and social media folks and entrepreneurs, which doesn’t happen all that often. I tried to make sure that what I talked about could serve to contextualize many of the ideas we were hearing that day. It was a chance to talk about many of the ideas I enjoy talking about alongside some new ideas.
