So, this October, the book What School Administrators Need to Know about Digital Technologies and Social Media, co-edited by Scott McLeod and… well, me… will be out in print. (You can pre-order now.)

I’m really excited about the book because it contains chapter after chapter from some of the best minds in educational technology, all writing to give a school administrator who wants to know more about the tools and how to use them perspective. It really does provide a thoughtful entry into the world of ed-tech. And for those folks who are beyond the entry point, I think there’s still enough in the text to be provocative, interesting and useful.

This is the first book that has my name on the cover as an editor or author, and it was an incredible process going from idea to book. (And yes, we’re hoping that there will be a Kindle version.) What an incredible learning experience… and I hope that everyone who reads it enjoys it and finds it useful. A quick look at the topics and authors should show why I am so excited that this book will be of use:
