So, I spent three hours today trying to install movable type. Now that it’s installed, I figure I’ll play around with it. What’s interesting is that I’ve been meaning to get this going on Beacon forever now, and now that I have the time to, Technology and Learning Magazine (the best edu-tech magazine out there, for my money, btw…) puts out an article on Web Blogs.

Go figure.

This is one of those things that I think a teacher could do amazing things with. Actually, if I build this into the the "automagic" files that get built with new users, I bet Abby and Kate could do amazing things with this in the ninth grade. I’d like to see what some English and History teachers could do with it. I’m thinking about using it as an option for homework logs in my class… if not a cyber-mentoring option as well.

Exciting stuff.
